The novelty of seeing friends/family/neighbours/anyone who will hang out with us after the long drought without socialising has certainly not worn off yet, and you best believe we’re seizing every opportunity to be amongst company that we can. Having said that, the expenses of endless weekends out on the town, bar tabs, restaurant bills and ASOS orders to dress for said occasions is piling up, so if you’re Monzo pots are looking a little worse for wear, keep on reading …
May we politely suggest: hanging out at home. It’s time to embrace hosting for your fave ladies, cosy dinners and movie nights on the sofa, catch ups over a reduced bottle of Rosé and ‘make your own’ pizza that serves as entertainment as well as dinner. Sometimes all you need is an excuse to take your makeup off before 7pm and life is good again! It really is the little things. After so long spent at home, we certainly all understand the power of a welcoming space, but upgrading it for hosting might just be the next step in homeware switch ups to prepare for normality continuing to return. Get the gang together, celebrate making it to hump day or organise a Love Island viewing party, whatever the reason, hosting is here to stay!
