Weekly Wants: New In Items We Are Loving From ASOS
This week's team picks come in a variety of shapes, colours, fits and styles as per usual, as we prepare for the imminently warmer weather (we're sure we were getting a tan this time last year?) and get ready for the 'what shall I wear today?' moments we have been craving for SO. LONG.
IRL shopping is still off the cards (who would have thunk it over a year later!) but thankfully our one and only true love ASOS has our back and has us sorted for the 12th April – nobody panic! There really is very little that the ‘New In’ section of ASOS can’t fix, and we wholeheartedly stand by the fact that a scroll of this bookmarked (and twice daily visited page) has seen us through it all. Anxious? Have a scroll on ASOS. In a queue? Have a scroll on ASOS. Waiting for your bagel to toast? Have a scroll on ASOS. Those who say retail therapy isn’t a thing clearly haven’t lived the joys of ASOS Premier Delivery is all we have to say on the matter.

BRING ME BARE LEGS AND SUNSHINE PLEASE. Summer dressing has and always will be my favourite (it’s just so easy- dress + shoes + bag and you’re done!) and ASOS is my ultimate destination when the weather changes and my wardrobe needs a refresh. I’ve really got into wearing bucket hats and caps over the past few summers and now headscarves are intriguing me as this year’s version of the trend- this sage one is beaut. I’m not normally one for a bodycon number but this maxi dress from Weekday looks so comfy and effortless so it’s gone straight into my basket. Finish off with some chunky sandals, dangly earrings and my summer uniform is complete!
I’m thinking of these picks as my ‘rule of six starter pack’! New sunnies and sandals, a dress for throwing on and heading out and a fresh face of makeup because let’s face it, I’ve only been wearing it once or twice a week for the last year. I think I could wear this little lot to brunch, a seaside walk, pub garden, get me THERE.
I am really starting to prep for Spring/Summer and ASOS always has soooo many good bits. One thing that really caught my eye is the tennis skort they have, can confirm it is NOT see-through and looks really nice on. If you’ve been after a decent tennis skort this one is for you! I am a pretty casual dresser for most events, so jeans and shorts are my usual go-to in Summer. I’m still loving tie-dye too and loved the quote “Grown Together” on the back, perfect for leaving lockdown, we really have all grown together!
I’m holding our Charlotte and Megan Ellaby personally responsible for my uncharacteristically colourful weekly wants. Patchwork joggers – who even am I!? Although neutrals will forever reign supreme in my wardrobe, something about coming out the other side of lockdown feels like an occasion worth celebrating, so bring on anything that will give Elma the Elephant a run for his money. It’s time to dress H-A-P-P-Y!
I’m going to wait until lockdown has lifted and then treat myself to a few new items, very rarely do I treat myself! This is what caught my eye on a quick browse this morning. I envision myself wearing lots of long dresses this summer because they look lovely but also hide my anti-chafe pants underneath. I’m also trying to accessorise more, I always think people with nice jewellery and bags look GREAT I just always forget in the mornings.
