This week, we’re focusing on styling our humble abodes and breathing new life into our interiors with a smattering of new cushions, Summer tones and all the boho vibes. Since we’re spending more time indoors, now is the perfect opportunity to turn our homes into the ultimate happy place.
Here’s a few bits we’ll be adding to our baskets asap!

I am SO excited to style up my kitchen once it’s installed… i’ve already been eyeing up all the fake plants in Homesense and all the cute super reasonably priced succulents at Ikea to add a pop of colour to my monochrome life. Anything ceramic or marble i’m on board with, finding smaller items such as plates, coasters or chopping boards in these more expensive materials is a really easy way of adding a touch of luxury without breaking the bank.

I’ve added some items to bag that have been in my Insta saved folder for a while, because if there’s ever a time to make the most of my space, it’s now! A mixture of soft furnishings for relaxing, wall art to make my room a little brighter and dreamy kitchenware that I can use for dinner parties once this is all over. Top of the list though are these divineee, slender wine glasses which I’ve been after for ages, which I imagine will make the prefect companion for a bubble bath and book in the evenings…

I love nothing more than faffing around with my home, shuffling things round every few months. Now we’re all spending more time indoors, we can get a bit restless with our surroundings so now is a great opportunity to style our homes happy! I’ll be ordering some new coffee table books, a lamp for the lounge and a few prints to hang in the hallway until we get round to decorating it.

As I am spending way more time in my bedroom now I thought it would be fun to get some new bits for it! I have loads of polaroids from trips and I found this polaroid rack on Amazon which I think is a super cute way to display them! I’m going to add some lights too and pop some candles on the little shelves it comes with. Lastly, I wanted a new trinket dish for my jewellery and loved this one from Oliver Bonas!

Spending more time indoors means more time in the kitchen, which I love to feel cosy and like the heart of the home! Too many barely touched cook books, fridge magnet galore and all the colourful accessories/utensils. I have a red kettle, green toaster and a painting of sunflowers on the wall. It’s cluttered but feels like home, ya know?
